It’s built on the same assembly line as the Accord, TLX and now CRV in Marysville, OH. The plant has two assembly lines that are tooled for multiple models.

They changed the Mid-Engine IMSA Prototypes from Corvette to Cadillac (seemingly out of the blue) and withdrew the successful ATS-V from Pirelli to focus on the DPI program. That right there seems like it will be a Cadi, otherwise, the name change doesn’t make sense IMO
I have a weird and probably incorrect theory that in the end it won’t be a Corvette but instead some weird Cadillac Halo car.
I’ll never buy a VW product out of warranty ever again. CP all the way.
I’d pay him a grand, absolute tops . . . and probably regret being even that generous. $500 sounds more in line with what he’s got.
What is your intended use? Passengers? Commuter car vs. more longer drives? What battery would you look for in a used S? I have an S85D now, and will add a Performance 3 as soon as I get the call for delivery. We’ll be keeping and driving both daily.
What's the maintenance schedule like?
At about same time they offer a manual shift stick.
Surprised not more people pointing this way, but since he parks on the street in DC, it would only work if he has access to a place to charge conveniently. If there was a charger at work it would be ideal, but that’s the biggest issue with an EV in the city.
I’d rather drive a manual base Toyota Corolla than a manual C class.
I’ve never read/heard the words “Mercedes manual” and “slick shifting” or “joy to row” or “bolt action” or <insert overused phrase here> used in the same sentence.
I’m selling that statement that you call a lie.
I... I’m going to go completely left field here. Something not too big, not too fast, but quick. Doesn’t need to do much else, but it’s got a good name on it, and it’s comfortable, easy to get in and out of, and easy to park. You can even get a convertible!
I’m not sure the nicest B3 Passat in the world is worth $5k, let alone this hacked up, high mileage turd. Easy CP.
My 21 year old self is drooling all over this. Back then, this car would have been the dream - bagged VR Passat wagon? Sign me up!
We are thinking you could have something 15 years newer for that price.
OH MY GOD I HATE THIS. I just recently figured this out too. I don’t wait to let people out of parking spaces anymore because of it. Think I’m an ass for doing that? Blame GM.
Where did GM go wrong?
My suggestion? This Tesla Model S P85D:
For CrewCab 4x4 or something smaller like an Acura MDX Tech-Pkg.
