To quote Pepper Brooks: it’s a bold strategy, Rob, let’s see how it plays out for them.

I’m beginning to think that ol’ Chet isn’t very bright.  Why couldn’t he be more like his dad, or like that nice Colin Hanks?

Or, counterpoint: tell them you don’t care about the excuses. They may explain what’s going on, but they don’t truly excuse anything. We’re not obligated to put up with people just because they’ve got [fill in the blank] going on if it’s fucking everything else up.

How’re you supposed to strike fear into the hearts of your enemies when all they can think about is “man, if you keep slouching like that, you’re gonna pay for it when you’re older”?

Who gives a shit what the WSJ had to say about anything other than keeping rich people rich?

Damn, I should’ve watched that instead of Ronin, I might’ve scored better. And not hit all those objects.

Anyone with a smartphone can get a plug-in ODB reader that’ll pair over Bluetooth or WiFi and do the same thing, or a stand-alone ODB reader and then just Google the code(s) that come up.

That’d be scraping the bottom.

She’s got her golf cart to get around in the gated community, could give fuck-all about anyone else.

Of course not. Common are the GQP politicians who don’t like Trump but won’t say shit about him because they know they’ll still need his deplorable base voters to cast their ballots for them one way or the other.

You forgot to add “with a cactus.”

If a medical professional reports someone for a “suspected” abortion, they should be hauled in front of their respective state licensing boards and have their licenses permanently revoked post-haste.

“[S]he’ll have a hefty defamation suit for everyone who dragged her name before she could even speak up for herself.”

I so want to defend that movie, but I actually saw it again a few months ago and.....yeah, it sucked and blew at the same time.

That’s what I was thinking: there’s no way a court case would cost $734M.

Ok, I thought it was just me.

If only his own mother were more of a tourist back in the day.......

The version on Hulu is the second dubbing, and they keep pronouncing Kaneda as almost rhyming with “Canada” rather than “Ka-nayda” as it was pronounced in the first version.  That was kind of distracting to me, but otherwise it’s just as good.
