Mechanically, very little difference than reconfiguring the mountings, fairings, and engine indication and control systems for different engines (they obviously burn the same fuel, though you may need to add fuel tanks to compensate for the turbofans higher burn rates).

"Fear me, for I am your worst nightm..."

Haha, you sound like the father consoling their child: "Honey, not everyone can brag that they are in the top 11 out of 12 contestants, you did AWESOME!!!"

Shock diamonds...

That was eleven kinds of awesome!

Wow, sorry to awaken the passionate response, but Boeing had worked on a lot of SST designs too, and none of them looked like Concorde copies as much as the Tu-144; though I will admit, I'm blindly guessing that Boeing's focused moreso on decreasing the shockwave for domestic applications. Also, during that time,

Another thing, the Concordski probably looked like a Concord for the same reason that all modern airliners look alike. Same mission, same physics, same result.

Being a pilot myself, I love how people not in the industry see a fresh coat of paint on a piece of hardware and say, "Why do you need new (insert expensive plane/ship)?"

You missed his point, he had an ESCALADE, therefore you should have moved for him.
What color grills did he have on his teeth?

That's actually very accurate. I think that the difference lies in men's brains versus women's brains. Men are much better at computing math problems and solving puzzles that require spatial reasoning than women (generally speaking, that is, though personally I've had/met a fair share of female math teachers,

ADS-B is via ground stations, not satellites. It does use GPS data from the GPS constellation, but aircraft have to be ADS-B capable, and flying in an area that has ADS-B coverage. Think of it as a wireless network, where the aircraft who fly into and out of coverage must determine and populate their pertinent data.

Must have more info!

Remember, opening beer with your helicopter is better with 90s Eurodance. Like everything.

He felt he could spend as much as he wanted, rack up the deficit to new levels, propose the sequester legislation, then blame sequestration on partisan politics.

+1,000.

IIRC, the negative wing angles are only in qualifying, as they have clean air, aren't fighting for positions, and just trying to get the absolute most out of their car, especially when after four laps, pole position can be won or lost by hundredths of a second.

Aside from being shocked/stunned, were the occupant(s?) in good health after the death of their chariot? I could imagine them getting spinal/whiplash injuries from that landing...

That's pretty awesome, but hopefully it won't give them an undue sense of invincibility that will get them in serious trouble some day down the road.

781s and reflective belts!
