In ~2010, I wanted to park my CRX Si. The AC compressor was removed to fit an engine swap. My car would fog up from the inside when it rained due to the leaky hatch. The aftermarket clutch and boosted power output it a little sketchy in rain and a pain in traffic.

Yeah not sure what they’re trying to say that these planes can’t destroy themselves by going too fast. I thought the whole purpose of the rating was to tell you at which speed you’re risking your plane breaking apart...

Pilots don’t usually fly with a parachute strapped to them. It sounds like the plane broke apart during flight, in which case you’d quickly lose control and not really get an option to strap on a parachute and safely jump out.

There are some planes with a parachute, like Cirrus, and there’s a huge difference in price

My flying experience is limited to pilot youtubers and flight sims, but my first guess would be that the plane exceeded its max speed on the descent and broke apart.

I remember the traffic in front of me during rush hour suddenly slamming their brakes from 65+ mph and checking the VW GTI that was behind me, sure it was about to ruin my S2000. Instead, it slid past me in the grassy median. He likely made evasive maneuvers to protect his own vehicle, but I still made sure to thank

I disagree with the amount of ‘freedom’ the CBP has in that 100 mile zone...

TBH, I thought it was a slur followed by support for the slurred LGB community.

There may have been practical reasons the car moved, but I doubt it.

Maybe not. Have avoided accidents since then, and have been outside the US the past 10 years. My current insurance covers 100% everywhere in the world**

**Only covers 80% in the USA.

What the heck is $10k going to do for a head injury anyway?

My bill for a car accident that only required x-rays, stitches, and a few hours in the hospital 20 years ago cost far more.

Finally, someone who GETS IT. I told her she shouldn’t have dressed like that!

This is something I’d buy. A couple kids, a wife, good pay, no interest in impressing people with my car’s manufacturer, and I need something more practical than a Fireblade, S2000, CRX Si, and a couple other motorcycles. Would like something electric that’s ‘fun’ and isn’t Tesla. Been interested in this for a

Forgot the 2nd gen glass-topped DOHC CRX.

Bought a CBR1000RR-R SP as my last sport-bike hoorah before I move to bikes more appropriate for my age. In the US you need to flash it to get the full horsepower. Pretty pleased with it. Handles great, accelerates rapidly, but not something I want to ride more than an hour or two at a time.

I bought a yellow 1990 CRX Si for $2000 over a decade ago with 165k miles. Aside from fading paint and a dent in the driver fender, it’s in decent shape. I did a non-hackjob engine swap a long time ago which isn’t good for resale but I plan to keep it in the garage next to my low mileage s2000...

Hoony.

Nope.

I drive an older LS 460L and like Lexus, but I really wish the new Land Cruiser was available in the US instead of the LX 570 variant...

Electric variant of the LS sedan or LX Land Cruiser-clone or LF please.
