Didn't know about that guy yet, so I looked it up.

I also wondered this and also worried that I might be affected by the "stop joking, dude" reaction, but when a friend of mine tried to pull a prank by trying to scare me as a zombie (he's an actor and his girlfriend is a make-up artist, quite convincing) the first thing I did was grab something I could use as a weapon…
No, I draw the line here. My anxieties are not a game to me and the subject matter just comes a bit too close, I wouldn't feel comfortable with this. But if it helps others: good! The concept is definitely intriguing though, that's for sure.
This. Garret fights the greater evils simply because he can, but he's not above being a dick otherwise. Part of it is his history and upbringing that puts him juuuust over the edge of the moral line, but the biggest part of it is his philosophy of anarchy. Then again, he does have some Robin Hood elements, at least…
Oh man, fuck Misery's Cradle. I'm already a scaredy-cat by nature, and while I was mostly okay with the game up until that point (including the zombies in the ship, and the statues that grumble "Crush and kill and kill and crush and kill...", the memory alone) I stopped playing when I was halfway through the first…
It's on PSP as well? That's (good) news to me, admittedly. I played the SNES and GBA versions, I vastly prefer the SNES version. Can't comment on the PS1 version, I rarely prefer rereleases on the PS1 due to load-times even if the offset is a coat of polish and FMV's.
Is it? If so, I will eat my words but it also goes to show that the DeJap translation was more... I dunno, flavorful? Official translations usually literally translate it and it becomes dull, fan translations are more lively but can sometimes go a bit overboard with editting. I'll read up on Phantasia's case, thanks…
One of those rare cases where us Europeans got it and you guys got screwed. I have it, original, but of course there's no digital version (so no Vita) and my PSP's UMD drive died (so only pirated). Look on the bright side: it was the only version us Europeans actually got, at least I think so.
What the other guy said. Not only is it visually gimped, it's also just... off. The dialogue has been trimmed and rewritten, losing much of the original's humoristic (and adult-oriented) touch, and the gameplay was made easier. The original game was balls-hard, the GBA one is kiddy-easy. No thank you, sir.
Might be for kids, but I still love to go there. My girlfriend's a foreigner but loved it too, so I guess some kids-things can be just as cool for adults. Hell, Disney and Ghibli are also timeless, same thing. Long story short: Efteling rules.
More of a Donny-face if you ask me.
"I am The Gaben."
"Shut the FUCK up, Donny, your out of your element!"
Heartily chuckled, nice one!
I'm finding it really hard to believe that his is actually up for debate, let alone court rulings. Net neutrality equals freedom from tyranny, in this case from corporations and companies, and is this an essential part of the freedom on which the United States was founded. Or isn't it? Because when net neutrality was…
*speechless*
Oh jolly Jesus and his merry Disciples, if this turns out to be a hoax / isn't funded / is funded but not happening anyway, I'll be a very, very, VERY sad bear. Also, is it my ADD playing tricks on me or have I heard of Unsung Story before? Early teases that were too good to be true, or rumors that sounded like dreams?
Well and good, but this is a multi-layered art project - not a game with an art statement. I really appreciate the beauty behind the idea though, definitely, but I'm not sure if I'd call an interactive artwork (namely, an application which allows you to 'tune' a shader) a game. It's too far off for me, I'd rather call…
Better question: does anyone care?
I wish I could hug you now.
Interesting, didn't know. Still makes it quite hard to believe, but perhaps it's the same for all instances of shows of extreme skill.
That, honestly, sounds lame as fuck. I never understood why people think it's okay to exploit the system to become better (I saw quickscoping in the vid as well, for instance). That, and some of the kills I saw were quite probably staged, otherwise the reflexes required for the rampage-kills aren't fueled just by…
