I think ‘a bit silly’ are the right words to sum up most this wrong with the film tbh. Not ‘a travesty’, not ‘a disaster, just generally ‘a bit silly’.

You go back to watching grown men in spandex shorts getting in a big pile of bodies in the floor.

Yeah - but I think those days are past. Just like that measly PlayStation anything with in the more modern era of consoles coming back into value. In fact that measly PlayStation might be the last thing that ever returns to having value on it. In our lifetime at least.

Yeah I guess you’re right. It’s not quite what I meant... which was that for me tearing apart a franchise isn’t enough to make a film good.

I’m sorry, but i can’t get behind that. I don’t know your girlfriend. What I do know is there were so many inconsistencies, plot holes, underdeveloped characters, meaningless deviations from the main story, purile jokes, cartoon animals and unsatisfying for-the-sake-of-it conclusions that I just found myself

If it was part of the mechanics why hide it in the UI? It’s fine to discourage repeat grinds - just make sure you tell people.

‘RustySO5 says “I guess facts”’

You probably won’t see this, but I think someone (you or heather) should do a feature following up the morality issue and seeing/finding people who have had their lives negatively affected by micro transactions - in the same way that lives are ruined by fruit machines.

Wait ‘til everyone’s bought it then....BAM! They’ll be back with a vengeance.

Here’s how I think of it. If you could hypnotise someone to give you money - would that be immoral? Of course it would.
