In Windows 10 MS combined Windows Defender with Microsoft Security Essentials. It has finished in the top 5 in every malware detection review I have seen in the last year or so.

I don’t think that is a fair assessment. I love my Surface 4 Pen, but the Apple Pencil seems to work just as well and some folks love that is senses tilt. It is nigh impossible to directly compare them though since there is not way to use them on the same device.

Nope, it is last years model.. but that means their should not be any cpu related firmware issues to work though.

Care to back that up with some actual numbers? The pen is the same as the one that comes with the Surface 4 and has 1024 levels of pressure sensitive and you can adjust the pressure curve.
