As others have said, a Rolex, properly taken care of can be handed down to your children. An Apple Watch? Not so much.

Wow, where can I get paid to write about something I know nothing about while asking my readers "... am I getting that right?" on questions that can be answered on Google in a few seconds.

That is one of the stupidest things I have read today. Your example case is a perfect demonstration of the placebo effect, not some new effect.

Nice snark, still does not change the fact that you look like an idiot when you spend all you time watching an event you are attending through your viewfinder.

I am sorry that he is having so much more fun than you.

In compatible software would certainly be an issue. So far I have not seen a single program that works on Windows 7 SP1 x64 that does not work on Window 8.1 x64.

Has anyone tried getting the freebies via the web?

Just remember that the music will be watermarked with the X-Box music account that downloaded it.

"What Microsoft is doing is essentially saying that if you want their stuff you have to shell out $160 to upgrade to Windows 8.1 to get it."

Yes, all free and discounted albums are purchased from X-box music. All the Windows Store app does is list them.

"It does little to nothing better than Windows 7" Wow, that is not my experience. We use mostly Dell systems in house and on our Dell laptops, Windows 8.1 Enterprise has been faster and had longer battery life then Windows 7 Enterprise. The imaging process with MDT has been more stable, and the fact that more stuff is

That makes perfect sense. Why in the heck would you want to upgrade when the newer version runs faster and uses less battery and RAM on the same hardware.

You are welcome to your opinion. I have been in IT supporting Wintel and Macs for 20 years and I really like Windows 8.

The app that lists all the deals is a Windows Store app, and the music is coming from X-Box Music. Why is anyone surprised that you need Win 8 and an X-Box Music account? Are you also surprised that you need an Apple account to purchase from iTunes?

No you are not. You do have to link to an MS account, but you do not have to login to it locally. I use it at work all the time logged in with my local domain account.

Remember that just like tracks from iTunes, the MP3s are watermarked with your identity...

"completely murdered out" ? Does no one speak English anymore?

Do you understand how your phone works? The only information they get is your phones equivalent of your car's license plate number. Your phone is constantly sending most of this information to any device that will listen.

That is awesome!
