Again, this is just personal skepticism and I'm not trying to put your opinion down but I just think that's an optimistic view. If their priority is a steady revenue stream and they attain it, why would they take any risks? I just can't help being skeptical in a post King.com world.

The idea of "games as a service" could potentially then offer another solution if players of free-to-play titles "slowly put in a little bit of payment that could turn into a steady stream of revenue that's fairly solvent," he explains. "That's ideally what you want. That's going to pay the bills, that's going to keep

Yeah, the gold bezel on the Zelda XL sealed the deal for me. I really like something beyond just an image to make my special editions unique.

I can't stand it. For two reasons, really. First, it's really cluttered and the black and white art on the red background just looks ugly to me.

My thoughts exactly. When I saw that statement, I thought this was legitimately an exclusive. But nope. Just one misleading comment after another.

This whole scenario just makes me laugh. I mean, don't get me wrong - both companies suck at doing exclusives this gen, but Microsoft is just categorically bad at it.

Well, there that is. To the surprise of very few.

That's a very common misconception: just because you hear about it in the media more often than you remember, it doesn't mean the events are occurring more often than they used to. The police have had militarized units for decades. Remember SWAT?

I don't remember Clive Bundy being a multiple mobs of people setting buildings on fire, picking fights with random people on the streets, and going city center to city center causing trouble. It seems to me that the cop was in the wrong, but these "protesters" are out of control.

Sorry, I like my guns.

And this article has no obvious bias?

yeah! fuck people who risk their lives for the lives of strangers! What a bunch of scumbags.

Maybe we should go back to fighting aliens.

The police are dressing for the mission: riot prevention and resolution. Do we expect them to show up like bicycle cops? Would the jackbooted motorcycle cops be more appropriate? Or maybe the meter maid Law and Order cops should be holding back violent protests?

As a Tomb Raider fan who has played every single Tomb Raider game since the start, I concur. It might be a win for Microsoft but this news just made me hate Microsoft and XBOX.

Great win for Microsoft; great loss for gamers.

Hot Toys has really pulled out all the stops for this figure. Implanted cloth hair, those lovely arms with the rubber-covered joints. Originally I figured I could get by with just Rocket and Groot. Now I just might need the whole set (though I wasn't very impressed with Hot Toys' Star-Lord).

Your image of Lara was that she was born super confident and just went on to automatically kick arse?
That's silly.

I'm no TR expert, but isn't she supposed to be relatively new to the lifestyle in the reboot? I thought it was intentional and that she was supposed to grow and toughen up over the course of the game, and after the ordeal is over, end up as the no-nonsense Lara Croft we knew before. The dual pistols were somewhat

That's because in the past her "job" as a "tomb raider" was already established.
