Not as crazy as the fine art market, which is pure and utter lunacy.

Ah yes. The uuber rich have discovered "cool cars" again. They did in the early 90's and got bored with them. Prices will return to normal when Richie Rich buy's up all of the supply and then gets bored and starts selling them off again.

This does not bode well for the Horsepower Kingdom. The Court of the Horsepower Kings must be nervous.

The 328d is a great car, but not that small in reality. I have been lusting for BMW to bring a damn small RWD, manual diesel hatch to the states for years. I feel they think that such an economy car with cloth seats wouldn't mesh with their brands image here, however as they chase unit numbers, anything is possible.

There, fixed it for you.

This is sound advice. A small electric car is kinda cheap to own and maintain. The money you save can be spend on an older enthousiast car. Even if it breaks down sometimes, you still have your commuter car.

Wouldn't it be easier to impose regulations and increase standards on driving tests across the country? Why not solve the problem (train and educate drivers) instead of trying to put a band-aid on it? Just a thought.

People seem to forget that the original M5 wasn't some stripped out track car. It was a vastly more powerful, slightly better-handling 5 series. But, that doesn't stop them from whining and complaining about every single new M5 since. I remember when people whined about the E39 M5 and said it was heresy because it

It's better than a Challenger, which is 100% heavier than ideal.

I think this is a great article and I also think that the article Tavarish wrote yesterday has valid points. There is no "one size fits all" opinion for if leasing is good or bad. It depends on the SPECIFIC car, owner, end goal, financial situation, etc. I currently am leasing a 2014 S4 and I spent about 10 months

Maybe that's why everyone always seems so angry.

The 2006 Mazda Miata that I used to own. It really wasn't that bad in traffic. The seats were great at least.

I also like the Moroccan Laraki Fulgura. Based on the Lambo Diablo, it's powered by a quad turbo Mercedes V12. It debuted in 2002 and still looks pretty good. At over half a million dollars, I think it was at one time the most expensive car in the world.

The Consulier, the predecessor to Mosler.

Two of my favorites as a kid, from reading the old Sports Car International magazine:

Yamaha OX99-11.
