So apparently by all these numbers I can afford a lease on a Ghibli, or financing a new TT...
So the strategy for this gorgeous 21st century plane is...
Winkelmann is not against hybrid tech per se:
I sold a FLAWLESS ‘98 328i cab with only 18,000 miles on it earlier this year for a little less than this. Sure there’s the fact Steve’s wife ostensibly owned it... but its a beat E36 at the end of the day. A car worth no more than $3800 as is. Factor $1k for the title’s name on it AT MOST.

I went to the Harley Museum last week, and it was my first exposure to Harley Davidson that didn’t involve stereotyped old white Harley riders... and honestly I cam back impressed.
LOLZ.

Robophobia: not just for science fiction any longer.
Their benchmark has already been beaten: it’s called the P85 D.
For the $25k cash you’d need to buy this car (because only a fool would take out a loan for this) PLUS the annual cash spend on the maintenance the proper Mustang for comparison would be a 2016 Shelby GT350.
Another consideration I didn’t see mentioned: Volatility.
