The alternative to turbocharging is electrification, like in a LaFerrari. Pair battery/electric down low for torque with a high-rpm screamer for horsepower and there could be a divergence away from turbos before all engines go turbo.

The answer truly is Miata.

Anyone else seeing more Lancia 037 in this? I know that's a 'Cuda grille, but the proportions scream LANCIA more than anything to me.

Slow news day?

Ferrari making non-Ferrari stuff would make more sense only if there's a heritage behind the choice. Ferraris main heritage outside of racing and sports cars is exclusivity and rarity.

THIS FILM HAUNTS MY DREAMS TO THIS DAY!

Does this plane, the YF-12 or the SR-71 ever get old? I mean if you were to guess what aircraft of the last 2 centuries are going to be recorded in history 1-2000 years from now the short list would include one of these, the Wright Flyer, Concorde and maybe the Jumbo jet.

Except diesels don't have ignition coils... compression engines and all that...
