Can we have more “Hazel Southwell” quality Jalopnik?
Can we have more “Hazel Southwell” quality Jalopnik?
Thank you for an excellent article!
Aside from that, I think they’ll end up as a super-compatible duo. Both are definitely competitive and somewhat aggressive drivers (although it’ll be interesting to see if Renault can deliver any of the diving capability that’s made Ricciardo such a ridiculous threat at RBR), but seem to have some of the level-est…
TL;DR
Good memory, people forget that Daniel was coming out ahead against Vettel. Mistakes and mechanical issues aside, I do think Max has outdriven Daniel this year. Especially the later few races where there has been a decent delta between the two of them.
They’ve tried.
This is a good piece. A lot of people were head-scratching over the move, but the thinkers were pointing back to Lewis’ move to Mercedes. I hadn’t realized that Renault was pulling out of FE to focus on F1, and that plus the Red Bull engine switch means this is potentially very exciting for the Renault squad next…
Because Red Bull gave him wiiings?
If anyone upsets (or poisons) him enough that he stops perpetually smiling I will personally see to their slow and painful demise because Daniel Ricciardo is a fucking gem and nobody will change my mind.
Last two season Riccardio has outscored Verstappen, after beating Vettel he a serious quick racing driver if he win this season against Verstappen then he proven his point.
Not to be that guy, but noting there was an actual wall near there, was that really the best place for a marshals stand?
INDEED. I prefer watching machines if this caliber sometimes, oh - turn right as well as left, maybe? And use their brakes from time to time. Flat-out in a circle for 2 hours is NASCAR-style daredevil spectacle, but has no place in a series like Indycar. Don’t try to make it so.
Racing should never be held at an oval.
Oval racing is only exciting when there are crashes and I'd like to not see anymore drivers hurt or killed on the ovals. But if you hate the drivers, then sure have them race in open cars on a oval.
This is the only correct take (Indy gets grandfathered in).
If you’re assuming the transporter doesn’t somehow displace what’s in the space you’re transporting into, why even worry about a twig or insect? Even the gaseous atmosphere presents a matter interaction issue. You’d need to transport into a vacuum.
I think I see the problem.
Shoulda used a .22 round. ;)
boy, that sounds like the ol’ penny in a fuse box trick (hack)
