I’m sorry Dave, I can’t let you do that.

That was Kevin Barnes riding a Brammo(?) losing to the late Mike Czysz on his MotoCzysz in the last corner. My favorite part was Barnesy, on a completely silent grid, having a bit of good natured “banter” with the crowd just before the green flag dropped.
I understand that Brundle’s been doing it for a while, that just makes Sunday’s performance even sadder. Buxton would breathlessly run from one end of the grid to the other and usually fill that time with good info and would have a decent question for anyone that would stand still.
I had recorded the live broadcast and had watched most of the race before I realized I hadn’t ffwd through any of the show.
I miss the trio as well. And that “grid walk” with Brundle wandering around mumbling and lost was a pale imitation of Will Buxton’s walks.
Always an exception to the rule.
Reminds me of a story (Read, told? Fact, fiction? I don’t remember.) A truck driver in WWII England was driving slowly at night with blackout lights marginally lighting the way. He spots another set of lights headed (equally slowly) towards him. He then sees the lights change course directly at him. Hoping to avoid…
I feel so inadequate now.
Dammit David, you stress me out every time you do this trip!
Of course they used a model 3 because the only sports car they had they sent to fucking Mars!
Dear Nissan, you are the featured marque at Laguna Seca’s Reunion this year, please bring this and show us some other stuff we’ve never seen and never new existed.
Thanks for making ALL motorcyclists look like assholes. Good job, guys.
Nothing screams ‘Busa transplant more than this does.
You’re not alone. I would love a cheap, stripped down, plasticy, $25k WRX STI
140 kph = 87 mph. Still pretty optimistic for 50 hp.
I’ve been a gun owner for over 40 years and not once has one magically jumped up by itself and killed 17 people. Stop blaming the tool and start concentrating on the real problem. Mental health issues are not “vague,” they’re very real.
One possible way is to do like the Swiss do.
Nice deflection of the issue. Your comment is really going a long way towards solving the problem.
How about they show support for mental health care where the root of the problem truly lies?
Because Gawker.
