A lot of people unfairly compare 16-bit era to the 32-bit. The 32-bit era is the first generation of 3-D consoles and it's more accurate to compare it with 8-bit games. And 8-bit JRPGs look pretty bad even more so than early 3-D JRPGs.

Yeah it sucks. But the original 360 was a poorly designed piece of crap. Not just that it broke down, but the entire console was just rushed and a failure. No wi-fi, no HDMI out cable, a power brick that overheated for quite a few people, CD drive scratching up your discs, the list just goes on.
