And yet at this point it's clear that as far as fiction is concerned at least, zombie has in fact become a genre. A predictable one for certain, but knowing that something is about zombies tells you more about the structure and form of the story than the incidental science fiction and/or horror elements it may (or

Nah, it counts. It's still handheld and probably something slightly lesser, but at least it's something.

Maybe if they bothered to put it on an actual gaming platform.

Walking Dead is just fortunate enough to be based on (well, related to) a popular television show. Most of Tell Tale's games are like that when they aren't Sam and Max.

This is a game about heart-wrenching themes involving zombies, like what a family faces when attacked by their infected daughter.

This genre has been out of ideas since it somehow became a genre rather than a theme.

I'd argue that they are niche because they are rare more than they are rare because they are niche.

Publishing is money that could be spent publishing something else.

It's not like I'm unaware of that, but even factoring that in, their output isn't what it used to be.

That has nothing to do with what I want. But you know, I can think of another unpopular genre (probably more so) that doesn't do that hot anywhere and that just happens to be the one featured right here.

Sure, but maybe they could publish more JRPGs.

Eh, it's a portable title for one (maybe I'm an ass for automatically associating that with lesser) and while it might not technically be Final Fantasy, it's Final Fantasy. I mean... yeah, it's not Final Fantasy XIII, but it's not exactly off the beaten path.

Just that they seem to spend a lot more of their time and money with other stuff lately is all.

*sigh*

Well, maybe. It's equally possible that this was decided by Koei Tecmo and Nintendo just didn't shut them down. Otherwise surely we would have seen something similar with Mario Kart right? Maybe a retailer exclusive retro track or some DLC characters from previous games?

I'll also be buying it. I liked the original a lot back when I played it on XB360. So kick it on down to 999,997.

Um, I read something on a hidden ring in the Green Hill Zone remake from Sonic Adventure 2 (mistakenly placed underground at the beginning of the stage). It was the first thing I thought of when hearing about the tiny huge island hidden coin.

There's really nothing that sexy about Bayonetta. Her proportions remind me of a Daddy Longlegs and she has waaaaaaaaay too much body hair.

Yeah, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons hasn't received much attention since it got replaced by more recent editions that dropped the A.

On one hand, I'm afraid of zombies, and that includes zombie companies.
