Ok, but does any of that really apply in the Sims, where your characters have no real lasting personality traits and change is instantaneous?

Toddlers being a 'main stage of life' is questionable. They are just the transitory stage between baby and child. One would think that all the stuff between 5 and 12 would be just as big a deal, but Sims generally goes straight from child to teenager.
Perhaps they knew Kotaku would cover the spelling error and there is no such thing as bad publicity? You know, for mad conspiracy points.
I tried to install The Sims 2 ultimate collection the other day since you know... it was free and all. Get the download going, it's 14 gigabytes, yet it takes far longer than any 14gb download takes me on Steam. Then it gets to 100%... Says installing for a second and then 'DOWNLOAD PAUSED'.
The worst part about it isn't even the branding... it's that in spite of the fact that they are rolling around in clown-sized BMWs they are still using the muted color schemes that actual BMWs use and that doesn't fit the game at all. I get that the whole idea of Mercedes is that it's supposed to be a serious luxury…
Is there something about it having to be the most evolved species of an evolutionary group? Because well... Aegislash is cool and all, but there's really no question that it is at its coolest when it's just an honedge. As Aegislash it looks a little too much like it has proper arms.
I guess he returned to the moon... uh... another moon.
Fair enough.
I really feel like I don't know what Bloodborne is at this point.
There really isn't that much to it. Most of the lore of Dark Souls 2 is just relating things to the original Dark Souls. There are a few things about the history of the main King figure (Vendrick) and his brother (Duke Aldia), but the story is held back a lot I feel for its lack of strong central characters that you…
The fans cost ~10-15 dollars apiece. You can go up to 30 if you want really nice high airflow silent fans, but you really don't need to. But even if you did the premium on this mobo is north of a hundy.
You don't notice it as readily today because it's popular with kids. Suffice to say the Michael Bay movie is probably going to have a higher budget than all of the previous turtles films combined adjusted to inflation, so... there's that.
Well the games sell about 1/10th of what a good Mario game sells these days (well, at least on the old Wii), so it makes sense that they don't put the proper effort into them. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy of course.
I tried rewatching it when I was about 16 and couldn't do it. It was just a little too juvenile for my tastes. Gargoyles on the other hand? Still awesome.
I was in line to ride some gokarts the other day (for reasons I won't go into) and I heard a bunch of kids singing the theme song for Sonic X which had me snickering a bit.
I'd agree with that assessment if not for two franchises that are stronger today than they ever have been: TMNT and Transformers.
Sure, but installing a silent case fan or two is a lot cheaper.
Trying to parse all of that made my eyes bleed... and I don't know what kind of media hoarder needs 20TB of space. I'll just concede that I guess it might be useful for the kind of obsessive person who owns eight pets (which I guess might explain the space needs too... and the willingness to spend a bunch of time to…
It just seems like an incredible waste of money to me that could simply be saved for buying better hardware. I'm sure no one has bothered to measure these alleged increases in lifetime and it strikes me as flimflam.
