Kuttner is right: Americans just won't get it.

I'd expect more character and soul from future hero cars. That Honda entry for instance would've been far better if they just put the ICON Derelict '53 Chevrolet Business Coupe in it's place. These hero cars are all cool to look at, but somehow soulless. Are our future movie heroes expected to be soulless too?

In this image there's a location called Rail Orbital / Airport Interchange... the realist in me think this is just a Britishism for a hub center, but the futurist in me thinks spaceport? Does Foster+Partners know something about Spaceship 3 or hypersonic travel the rest of us don't??

I sold a car that had auto wipers. They worked well at first... then the windshield got badly damaged by an errant bullet (don't ask, I'm still wondering how I got shot at in a decent neighborhood at a stop light to this day). Long and short of it, the wiper sensor never worked properly after they put in the new

Finally! All the sci-fi art books I drooled over as a kid had pictures/paintings of these mega-hubs that had high-speed trains, hydrofoils, Syd Mead-esque cars and hypersonic planes landing. I'm amazed it's frankly taken this long for this sort of project to happen in the Western world.

I've met Samwell! He's a really nice guy, and not a mess like the one in the post.

Oh honey, go back to Lime in the Castro and have a cocktail.

I thought the Boxster Spyder was a dumb idea until I saw one in person. It has a presence the shopping version lacks. Same goes for this MX5. Then again, the Super20 has even more of that magic.

The owner of the Autobarn Mazda dealerships here in Chicago built one for himself, did a one-lap-of-America in it. Pretty cool little van, it was for sale in one of the Mazda showrooms last year.

Ford should've put their electric tech into a supercar first, since they have to charge a premium (heh) as it were.

I don't like black (or is this one black/blue metallic? Hard to tell) cars, and the black-n'-blue interior with honey birds-eye maple is just too much. The reptile leather? Texturally I wouldn't mind it but the colors are just too much. Plus the wheels are hideous. CP unless this fits your style perfect. Otherwise

Good to see that Jalops do not want donks - at least at these prices, in this economy.

Most of the story behind Claude Lelouch's "C'était un rendez-vous" classic drive film through Paris.

I have a feeling that you could insert a blank into that tagline and discover how a lot of things were sold in the 1950s: "How sexist marketing sold America on the ________ ."

Oops, Duh! derp derp.

VW tried to acquire Maserati a few years back, along with Alfa Romeo. The central tenet to thinking was having a Latin brand portfolio stronger than Seat was at the time - and more crucially - access to a proven FR platform from the Quattroporte.

I saw that quote, but noting that it is a pre-prod test I'm sure they can sort that out. My MX5 has oodles of low speed snap oversteer, but it's dialed out at higher speeds. I think Toyota still has some sorting to do, hopefully their top talent is on the case.

No way I can wait til 2013 with my current 04 9-3 for a replacement. That car was already long-in-the-tooth.

Lol I think you're looking at the horizon reflection line, not the window base. The side DLO seems to dip below the crown of the hood to my eyes.
