Looking forward to this one, but I hope they don't make it plainly clear I need to dump the MX5 for one.

Front engine, Rear Wheel Drive.

That's a time capsule car if ever there was one. Not my cuppa tea at all, as I don't even fit in the later C3s, nor do I care (Or have ever) for the pacecar color combo/rubber bumper style. But hey, if you have some funky high-top lace ups, a penchant for man tanks and moustaches and like a lot of synth in your music

The F1 kinda ruined it for everyone else. I mean, it's a great day to pretend you're in the BTCC or DTM in your e30 M3, or play some apex-clipping in your E46 CSL clone... then BAM! The F1 makes you feel slow, poor, and weak.

The lesson of the day kids?

Is this place in Lombard/Carol Stream Illinois by any chance? Lol.

They modified the interior design, changed the seats and their mounting structure, and the whole car is massaged. Same basic car but everything was altered here and there. Both suck actually for comfort, but I found the 328 just a smidge better because of the changes to the seats and small pieces here and there.

Drive one first. The 328 is fast enough to JUST cut the right dash, but the 308? Meh. I'd rather the comparatively ugly later Mondial T (which I have yet to drive) over the old, slow 308. Plus 328s and Mondials are roomier. If you're 6 foot plus like me you'll barely fit in a 328, let alone a 308.

Should've guessed this was a San Francisco/Bay Area car: few other places in the country do people consistently post and sell really awesome unique cars than the Bay. Usually for good prices, the odd Miura/Reventon/Veyron etc notwithstanding. This would be great in the hills of Marin, touring wine country, or a

From everything I've read, a hot hatch or warm sport compact will blow it's doors off to 60, and the overinflated top-end figures have been disproven over the years.

The prettiest supercar of all time (maybe prettiest car even?):

I like the box. Since Volvo went all "naughty" (and for really, for a long time prior) few companies have made truly handsome boxes. I think this one is alright, but I couldn't live with the zero-feel steering, the road noise, and the cheap (but cheerful) materials finish.

Stop light drags aren't my thing. Besides if you mash the gas of any modern car and the other person isn't paying attention you'll take a lead. Albeit a brief one, but long enough to get ahead if lanes merge.

I love all 3 of these cars, they're simply awesome.

NP for a perfect Smokey and the Bandit ride...

Funny to call this an "aging" comparison, because both products (and windows even) are evolving more rapidly than a fictional militarized airborne virus.

1M if someone asked me right now, and I had to make daily use of it.

Now playing

It's a helluva startup, you gotta admit. Goes from off to 25,000mph in a manner of minutes, with the sound of steam hiss, then 3 sonic booms as fuel dumps into the combustion chamber at unbelievable speeds... followed by thunder, then the sound of the heavens themselves tearing open.

Flying your already expensive car(s) overseas for routine maintenance.

40mph according to their test protocols PDF, at least the current test. I found this interesting though, and makes me wonder about the NHTSA scores for both cars, from autoevolution's website:
