Apparently the BMW brand proliferation will spawn a 4-door coupe... (???) akin to the Audi A5 Sportback which we don't get here.

So what the info is generally saying is that stick shift drivers are older, and these are older people's preferences.

You could also point to western (over) consumption of red meat and pork. Smithfield, the Southern-based pork processor giant routinely uses illegal labor, has horrendous slaughtering practices and the some of the butchering tasks are causing neurological damage in workers.
These trucks might be good if you have a business, but otherwise they're just huge.
