I'm currently cross shopping this car with a new Golf TDI, used C30 and V50, a Mini Countryman and and on paper it makes an excellent case for itself. I could load it with every last option and it still would run me cheaper over 5 years than everything else...
I want to buy a used Euro wagon as a DD right now, but I don't want to have $2000 maintenance bills for a 328xi or A4 Avant with only 27,000 miles. It's not even a matter of affording it as much as enjoy other things in life freely.
There is so much awesome here. So. Much.
Of course new Ferrari customers aren't worried, they gutted the middle class quite effectively.
The Cadillac Solitaire, and Voyage concepts (you might remember their brief cameo in Demolition Man) are pretty awful.
Or,
I've seen these on the road, they are kinda cool...
This is what car design used to be: unfettered form studies that sell images far beyond the understanding of a limited marketing department's abilities to create.
Few are cooler than the late 50's transport that Ferrari used. Iconic as the GTOs and Testarossas they once carried.
Pointless.
Either my boss doesn't notice, or doesn't care... or notices and applauds my efforts silently - but Ive taken to coming in 30 min later than the official "late start time" of 9AM. I find that in my outbound Chicago commute it reduces my drive time from 45-50 min, to about 28. My fuel econ goes from a 22mpg average to…
This happens to me ALL the time.
Any 90's Honda. Seriously, but for this QOTD the 93-era Accord Wagon.
Honda shift feel has been, and still is fantastic. A Corvette's? Never been good. A 2010 Si, or a 2012 TL-SH have that smooth snickety-snick feeling. I've read that even the otherwise meh CRZ has a good shift feeling.
I love it but...
I think I saw a gen II Integra on this list, and I put the TSX down myself...
Even though I prefer RWD, with the 3 series already covered a strong contender has to be the original Acura TSX.
It shouldn't die, nor does it have to. However evolution and innovation should be a primary concern for those in charge of the organization. A heady rethink of management, compensation packages and structure should also be in order.
Clearly these guys are doing something wrong if they've forgotten then!
