Citing an outbreak of Nibblage, I'll stick to prose:

"promote real-world-capable 100 miles per gallon vehicles that are safe, affordable and desirable."

For $1500, buy a used PC, bootleg some 3D software, and design your dream POS on screen instead of half-assing it in meatspace. If it's remotely cool, then build it.

Exactly. I'd seek out a 560 SEL (or SEC even) before i'd buy a W111 but even so, the 111s have a ton of character that the 126s built upon.

NP, provided it passed a visual inspection in person, and a leak-down test by a Benz mechanic. It needs some cosmetic refreshing as everyone else has mentioned in the wheel and chrome dept, but this is still a lot of car for the money. Who wouldn't want a big W111 on a road trip?

Nice of her to write it on the glass, where it washes off easily. Wonder why she didn't etch it into the paint, or use a spray can though.

I wish it would succeed, but so far the Aptera is courting failure. Shame, it's sexy.

They still make these.

If I ever start a car magazine of my own, I'm tracking you down. Well put.

Why does everyone keep talking about hipsters? I thought they all rode fixies... car people just. like. cars. You show me someone in skinny jeans who thinks of a throttle body instead of bread when you say "carbs" then I'll show you a car guy/gal. So confused why the hipster reference even pops up in this thread.

The game looks pretty cool, I think that's safe to admit.

They're back to one sausage, many lengths... but I like the beak on this bird. Not sure it works with 4 doors though. The interior is a bit frightening however, with those aggressive surface transitions.

There's like 3 OX-99 11s in the world, and they... they... TUNED one? TOTAL WIN.

It's all relative. Back in the late 80s aero kits were sharp, rubber lipped and heavy looking. This one improved on the rather insubstantial C4 Corvette body and brought it up to date with the best Euro machinery. I'm not a Corvette fanboy but it was hard to not to see it as a radical improvement back in the day. I'm

Oh, and not one crazy tuner Japanese car? Howabout the 1000hp Top Secret Supras or Skylines? Surely one of those Godzillas from the East is more bad-ass than the Polestar.

Wait, where's the Callaway Sledgehammer???

Daily grind driving prefers cars with fat and flat torque plateaus, not a linear climb up the charts.

I had this! Well I probably still do actually, just in lots of pieces, mixed up with even more pieces...

Nice picture, but the engineering would be all wrong.
