@spiegel1: No question.
@spiegel1: No question.
@EMTtech: Beautiful to look at, ok to drive, awful to service... E34 and E39 5 series were far better in most respects, especially in M guise.
@snap_understeer_ftw: The Islero is uglier to me, just because its boring compared to the exotic Espada, and less elegant than the 400. The Jarama runs it close, but it has this sharp 70s wedgy appeal which edges it out - so to speak - for me.
Before I read the article I had forgotten how the Zimmer was Fiero based, and was thinking "well the wheels suck, but maybe this is pimptastic..." then i actually read the post, saw the awful interior and realized how whack a long-nosed Fiero really is.
@CABEZAGRANDE: I've driven a friend's and it was just so obviously cheap and practical that I had to hate it. Doesn't actually make it a bad car per se, or even embarassing. Just not something any enthusiast should ever own.
While all of these are pretty embarrassing in their own right, the mockery of driving pleasure that is the luxury American SUV has to be mentioned. Just because no one can see you behind the pillbox window slits of an H2 doesn't make it any less of an affront to all that is good about automobiles. You might have 22's…
It'd have to be something I keep, not just hoon about in for an afternoon thats for sure. Something with provenance, pedigree... and worth an insane amount of money even in derelict condition:
Tip toe, through the tulips, avec moi?
@Rhitick: Yea which is why I don't post so much over there anymore...
A Donk, any donk.
Integrales were brought in as gray-market cars for a short time, and the cost of certification plus taxes made them pretty damn expensive.
NP, its an E30 wagon.
Well-considered list, "like."
Its really no worse than this.
Thank God for the model planes, you know? If they didn't have the model planes they wouldn't have gotten the idea for the big planes.
Looking at the whole house pics from the kateoplis, I would've had the architect built a ramp driveway to the second level instead of this solution, and put a dedicated work room underneath.
Richard Losee is my hero.
An Evo owner who works a cube behind mine here at my office has EVLKNVL on his. I'd take a pic and post it but I think he may have driven his SUV to work today.
@ssurfer321: Did onstar pay for the airbag deployment?
@ferric oxide: Hes got a full Porsche collection too, with the very first 911, rarities like abarth 356's, a 917, a 908 etc. With all the special stuff he has having 50 911s is just fine and dandy - obsessive, but otherwise ok.
