There was(is?) a guy in Rochester NY who the sales people at John Holtz called "a collector." So one day, when i'm having a car serviced there he comes in to look at a 993 GT2 (rare bird, indeed). I ask; " they say you have quite the Porsche collection..." he proceeds to list numerous 996 and 993 model 911 turbos - IN

Anything with a Lancia badge or Martini colors.

Remember that episode of "The Office", where Michael drives himself and Dwight into the lake because of the errant GPS?

Ok so there IS a Fenomenon connection. Even after reading the website translation its still a pretty convoluted road.

Where's the memo from BMW that explains rear-wheel-drive to its clueless 1-series owners?

Whatever it is I am thankful to have never owned it. Even the 1.8T in my '01 GTI with its constant coil pack failures, cam tensioner failure and dull engine note probably looks like a paragon in comparison to the worst from the 70s and 80s.

Great start for a track slut replica, or a good stealthy cruiser for those car show nights. NP for sure.

@Deal Killer: I went through all the effort, but you beat me to it! Well played good sir.

Presenting the 2011 Toyota Avalon Brougham Sedanca DeVille.

My 2nd Ferrari list has to be the 1962 lineup, many built around the 250 engine: GTO, Lusso, SWB plus there were the 400 Superamerica and the absolutely fabulous California Spyders, both in LWB and quintessential SWB form.

Ferrari's 1996 lineup: F50, LeMans hopeful F50GT1, 355, Hoary old Testarossa 512M playing with the very new school 550 and they just signed Schumacher.

Shame that the designers of this kit didn't just get inventive and make a pretty italianate body for the 240... instead of this cp knock off.

If it really is a GM mule, I'm guessing Cadillac: Either a real early chassis mule for the S-Class super Caddy, or a replacement XLR thats more like a 6 series (with a back seat).

Bugatti showed the rendering first and what did it get them? 4 years of delays, umpteen millions in REdevelopment costs and a lot FU faces from some seriously wealthy folks.

@YankBoffin: Interesting. I only know about it from what Evo, Car and the rest have said. I'd like to drive it back to back with a 911 Carrera S (or perhaps GT3) to be absolutely sure...

Cold and austere, like all the cars bar the R8. Its a tribute to 1-dimensional aesthetics, nothing more.

Mead deserves credit for so damn much its not even funny.

Again, the turtle has it.

@Dred777: Holy Cr@p thats 10 shades of awesome! Is this in the same mien as a truckasaurus?

Disapproval turtle disapproves.
