What's cool about those "extra vents" is that they are part of an active aero system where air travelling under the car is ducted via fans out through the taillight openings.

Until we have plentiful solar or [any] fusion power, glittering oases in the deserts really don't make much sense - however five-star their infrastructure may be.
@Kerc 2.0 beta: Glad I'm not the only one. I thought it was only new cars that look old - i.e pick your favorite retro looking car given the context it lived in.
@Rust-MyEnemy: Several designers have openly suggested (to put their tone lightly) that we need to move on from the retrofuturistic context Jay Mays and Freeman Thomas ushered in during the 90s.
New Beetles, ugh.
Lexus SC3-400/Toyota Soarer

Since I can't afford this thing, my 100% approval means nothing - so for those who are considering a $60k monster sedan, give this car a look. I need vehicles like these available when I finally have enough $$$ to buy one new for myself.
I sketched up a car with a rear tire like this a few months ago. Looked pretty cool, though I have no idea if they can really make it work.
@BWa1k:
Many of these are beautiful, awesome and so full of win it hurts.
This is the Fenomenon Stratos, right?
"Never argue with an idiot, because they will only bring you down to their level and beat you by experience."
@Death By Cornbread: Even more badass than Hannibal.
Gordan Murray.
Its a fair price for whats going to be a monster of problems for its next owner. NP, but just barely. Caveat Emptor!
That could've ended a lot worse...
@Toby Fray: Yea I was wondering the same thing, thats definitely a '78+ Corvette in metallic green across the way.
