@jlayton: I've driven manual cars for the past 13 years and this past weekend I bought my first automatic trans car since 1997. I drive in the city, have a 25 mile commute through Chicago's worst bumper-to-bumper traffic and do a fair about of around the city driving.

@osbjmg: I'd love to be driving my now-sold car again in NC, I had some fun roadtrips around the state. I lived with it in Florida for a few years and made sure to tour as much of the south as possible when I could.
I wouldn't side with the AAM on this, but they do bring up a point: Are local mechanics going to be properly trained to handle the latest software?
