I believe turbo flutter is caused by excess boost pressure forcing itself back into the turbo, causing it to slow down and in some cases, spin backwards.
Alright, so apparently my text didn't come through. This was my first car, it was a 1988 Toyota Camry Wagon. The thing was impossible to kill (which we tried to do when I got a replacement), replacement parts were cheap, and you could practically rebuild the whole thing with a set of basic hand tools
There's one of these always parked in front of a store sort of near my place, I see it when I drive into the next town over. It looks even more obnoxious in person. If the spoiler was completely body colored, it lost the stripes (or got them in a dark, subtle accent color like charcoal grey), and had dark wheels, I'd…
It's just a dream, but what this car needs is the drivetrain from the Camaro ZL1, and the suspension and brakes to handle that kind of power. It would slate it in with the likes of Jag's XFR at that point.
I hate to say this, but why are we ragging so badly on someone's personalized rig? Don't get me wrong, I have an intense dislike toward Jersey Shore, Snooki, and Cadillacs modified in poor taste just as much as the next guy. But Snooki obviously bought a car she liked, and paid to have modifications done that made her…
<insert snarky comment about how the only reason this crash happened was because the car was American made>
Simply put, no. I'd suggest doing some research into the proper usage of a concealed firearm. Here's an article that sums things up pretty well.
I love Crown Vics, but I hate when people "Donk" them out. And while I'm ridin' the hate train, I can't understand a single sentence on that website. Talk like a big boy, damn it!
Any pre-50's American car or truck would be ok with me. I ran a lawn care and property maintenance business last summer and a client of mine showed me their 1936 Dodge Sedan. That car made me fall in love with older American Iron. My Dad had a 1949 Chevy pickup for a while, I think it would be real cool to have that…
Doesn't BMW stand for "Bet My Wife"? i.e. "I BMW won't be too pleased after she found out that I bought this M3"
I really do wish that the law worked like this. If that's the way it worked, I'd charge the sewage company $500k for every time I took a dump.
I love these things! I actually had the opportunity to pick one up several years ago but I live in a small neighborhood with a fairly low weight limit on the streets, so it just wasn't feasible at the time.
what the hell did i just witness??
