True, but the Hyundai STARTS 2k less than the Scion. There is no option for a 2k cheaper TC. The base price will often times attract buyers, and thus sales even if most of those sales come with the 2k in options anyway.

Having heard and seen the Granturismo in person (standard car, and unfortunately no seat time) I have to say that if I had the coin for the car, I'd be at the dealer now. Just standing outside the cars and getting the aural treat of the exhaust note is amazing.
The term "lead sled" refers to the fact that lead was used to fill in seams so smooth the look of the cars. not a reference to weight.
And now for some moving pictures with sound of one going around a track. Enjoy.
If this were an LS motor or about 8-10k cheaper, it'd totally be worth a look. At 17k though there alot of much better options out there just in the 928 world not to mention in the front engine, rear drive sports coupe market.
Mercedes started out with a 3 wheeled car that could barely manage a good brisk walk. Porsche sprang from the Bug. Things do change.
The first bit of this vid shows how the second accident happened. Looks like the only way marshals would have been able to prevent it would have been with radio communications. The second accident seems to be because the car couldn't see through the dust of another car.
Looks like the Driver is on the phone with his lawyer discussing the next Lambo purchase he'll make after he sues the NYPD. Seriously guys, Italian cars have a tendency to draw attention and burst into flames, two VERY bad traits for a smuggling operation's delivery vehicle.
grr, 2002. stupid failing memory.
Formula 1, 2001 Austrian gran prix. Ferrari team orders to Barrichello to let Shumacher pass for 2nd place. Still one of the most unpleasant last laps I remember.
Don't exist in the states.
I'm not necessarily saying the driver wasn't spacing out, BUT from my experience at work, i could see this happening quite easily by accident. I drive an E150 commercial van on a daily basis, and for 9 months of the year, around the greek town for a large university. There have been more than a couple times where…
This car has been on Craigslist STL for quite a while now. I'd say CP it is.
I'll take "Things I'd like to Nom" for 1000 Alex.
I always find the EPA numbers laughable. It lists my mini s at getting a max of 31 on the highway when I can regularly get 35+. Hell it lists my previous car (1998 S70 T5 5spd) as getting only 23mpg highway when I routinely got 29mpg and had even managed a few 30+ runs. MPG adustment=Fail.
Have to say my 2004 Mini Cooper S is a hell of a lot of fun and will average between 32 and 38 mpg on the drive between Columbia Mo and Little Rock Ar, depending on how much fun I decide to have on some of those Ozark mountain roads.
It really is sad that the top forms of motorsport don't allow for this level of creativity anymore.
@Lounge Singer Chamois: All Hail Hypno-Toad!
@Kenny_Powers: besides it was the Commies that built the last wall...
@zerobandwidth: Strangely I read that as "...Audi AT-AT... "
