Apparently it’s to prevent soot buildup on the shiny tips. DI engines create a lot of soot, and lots of vehicles that have them have chrome or silver tips - both real and fake - that are now permanently blackened.

It was my understanding the federal law requires a physical connect to the steering. I remember infiniti being required to have a steering shaft. This is a Lexus UK video so im guessing its not a US bound feature.  Its also probably why Tesla doesn’t do it.

LOL. No it’s not at all comparable to those games at all. If you summon someone to help or duel THEN it’s a shared multiplayer experience. For 99% of the game you are soloing. 

If that’s the case, then why does the game allow you do pause the game for these tool tips?  If it breaks the game, why allow it?  And if doesn’t, why not just make it a regular feature?

Or, shit, you just want to pause the game. Who gives a shit if it’s a “legitimate” reason to pause, y’know?

They’ve done this (same stipulation...pre-order just gets you the place in line, not a locked-in price), albeit not with a 20% delta.
