Amazingly I “played” for ten minutes and couldn’t find a single title I recognized until I came across a “Trespass” CD.

I mean - did you miss the part where he died and the gifts kept on coming?  I don’t think being undead is a PTSD symptom

But with the rise of keyless entry, the car won’t lock with the fob in the car anyways.

It’s this really bizarre thing where writers seem to actively hate cars and transportation while working on a car blog. Honestly, David Tracy articles are the only ones that contain actual content - the rest are all hot takes, usually bad ones. Shilling, Brownell, even Torch. No wonder Kristen and Andrew left for

This is on par with these sites now.  Kotaku wastes half a review on developer conditions and work hours - no, just tell me about the fucking game.  I don’t even know why he bothered to review a truck he went in hating.  It’s why I only visit Jalopnik like once a day now, and get actual news via Autoblog

For some reason he’s doubling down on the “these trucks will arrive then fail hard” take. Not sure what he’s expecting, but yea, I read his articles for fictional content and comments only.

Yea I had no idea of RV pricing and scaling, figured bigger was more expensive

My initial question was did you consider the Pacifica Hybrid for your van conversion needs.  After watching that video (coincidentally using a Pacifica)...yea, I don’t see how they would re-do the entire floor and battery of the PHEV van.

My recently retired parents are looking at RVs, and not the giant 35 ft luxo-barges, just a converted Sprinter.  I’m like cool, so what, $80k?  $90k?  The ones they are looking at start at $170k.  /faint

Out of all the pre-sale EV companies out there, they’re the least vaporware of them all.  They’ve already started delivering EV vans to Amazon.

I recycle and generally care about the environment, but I want the Model 3 Performance 100% because of instant torque and acceleration. Gas being a pollutant doesn’t enter into the equation at all.  If you have that combination but in a gas engine, I’ll take that instead.

I get that way at air shows when they have the stunt biplanes go up, or an old cargo plane, and they make some noise and it’s fine.  Then an F-15 or F-22, or Blue Angels take to the skies and you can hear it from the parking lot half a mile away - they sound like the Wrath of God.  I can only imagine if you’re a

This’ll probably be the coolest thing I see all day. Thank you

I use iPhone’s Wake feature, where you pick it up and the screen turns on. That plus FaceID has resulted in times where I:

Good luck!  I fully expect you to start your own EV company in 15 years or so, poaching from their knowledge, like Lucid’s Rawlinson.

My recently retired parents are looking into an RV. I have no bearing or knowledge in the RV world, so I’m thinking one of those giant 30 ft bricks with all the comfort trappings? No, they’re more active so they’re looking into a Class B Sprinter Winnebago with 4WD. I’m like cool so it’ll be what, $85k or so? Nope -

I consider Rivian the Most Likely to Succeed entry in the EV yearbook - every other manufacturer is vaporware until they’re not, and it’s commendable that Rivian has vans on the ground.  (Tesla’s already graduated)

That’s fair and accurate.

This site is barely “media”, which implies some (even miniscule) levels of impartiality.  I reframe Jalopnik as a hot takes opinion site, it goes down much easier that way.
