Agree - I’m just saying to not make max range a requirement or even a selling point.

I have and it’s breathtaking (literally.) I guess people are of different minds of what they want out of their cars - I want performance first and foremost, so I’m not married to exhaust rumbles and stick shifts and all that. There’s nothing wrong with those, I’m having my fun with it and am good with my time, but I’m

I’ve used Discount Tire over 20+ years and I continually ask them why they don’t do alignments - I always have to take my car to another shop.  It seems like it’d be a no-brainer, and an easy upsell to justify the loss of a bay, but what do I know.

Complete 180 counterpoint: affordable performance EVs can still be counted on one hand (Model 3 Performance, Mach-E, .......that’s it?) The field is still wide open for an automaker to redefine the segment, and I nominate FCA/Dodge. Your car is already called a Charger - make it literal and give it low-mid 3 second

I left the car more wanting a family to take to the beach than wanting to go to a racetrack.

  • Hybrid: The default mode blends torque from the 2.0-liter engine and electric motor. In this mode, the powertrain will use battery power first, then add in propulsion from the 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 when the battery reaches minimum state of charge

The interior looks production ready and looks pretty amazing compared to what exists in FCA interiors today.  There looks to be an external display on the charging port?  All good

I bought 2 shares of TSLA right as the market was starting to rebound in April, at $980 each - have made more than 2x on them. My individual plan is to hold them until battery day 9/22, see what spikes the day after that, and sell. Not really in it for the money or profit, just very curious at this particular stock’s

If Iron Man was real, this is exactly how we’d start hearing about it.  Next is some potato-quality video clips or TikToks showing a streak through the sky

You must be lucky enough to live in a state with no front tint laws or inspection requirements.  Texas is 25% and annual inspections...sure there are shops which look the other way but it’s a PITA to try to find and go to those annually.

Hell yeah.

Staff implies management. I have people. They show up, do stuff I won’t do/poors activities, and leave.  I assume they get paid, I have other people who handle those affairs.

Why is there a Viper in the Corvette Museum?  I’ve been to the storage warehouses for FCA concepts and there are zero GM products.

I always thought one shot was good for “the season”, just didn’t know that it could wear off before the flu season was up.

...what?  4 strains of COVID-19?  No.

This was fairly informative - I didn’t know a flu shot “wore off”. I do question this line:

Hyundai’s exposing the raw truth that its owners don’t wash their hair as often as they should. Dirty cheap hippies.

You shut your frunk when I’m driving to you!

The recall included every car which had that switchkey fob, which was pretty much every Chevy I believe

Jalopnik and its sister sites now all carry embedded ads/links to other articles - Corey’s worried expression there is a link to an article on The Root. That he looks so worried, on every single article on the Go Media sites, plays into the fun.
