David, you said you wanted feedback on the format. I clicked to page 2, then went up to the URL bar and put in 9 just to get here to make the comment that IT SUCKS and this site is going to see a LOT of lifelong commenter turnover if it sticks around. Sorry to shoot the messenger but hopefully someone reads this and

Between this and deepfake videos, I’m never trusting anything and anyone ever again.

Half of Jalopnik’s writers seem to actively hate cars and motorized transport.  It really is bizarre.

What mutant lambo is that with a middle rearview mirror?

Had me at the initial analysis, became best friends at “hard to find the same people at the local WRX STi fuckboi meet.”

Forget rare care, I can’t find an 1/18 Dodge Charger Scat Pack or Hellcat.  You’d think the first mass production 700hp sedan would garner a couple die cast models...nope

I had noticed, reading these columns. He does seem like he knows his stuff, but I’ve noticed that these columns are much more common sense than insider/experienced insight.

Perhaps. I do prefer them over GM and Ford - better Uconnect/infotainment interface and more attitude/design preference. I don’t think it makes my opinion invalid - I’ll call it shit if it’s shit.  That being said - it’s literally the only game in town (hybrid minivan) until the rumored next gen Sienna comes out, so

Nerd detail alert: it was jarring for me to see a silver Chrysler 300 driving laconically through the woods, then seeing Carrie step out of a Hyundai.  To the point where I thought, oh, did they segue into a flashback for her now?  Doubt anyone else noticed.

Having watched all manner of Mandarin phrasing get butchered for the sake of Americanization, if I can get the gist of what they’re trying to say, I try to make peace with it.

We’ve had it a year, no issues.  There’s a bit of a rattle from the third row sunroof cover but it’s not there all the time.  I’ve owned 20 years worth of Mopar products and I’ve seen them go from real crap to pretty top notch cars.  Yea I said it

We love it. Pre-COVID, we would easily go a month between gas fuel-ups (wife has a 35 mi commute which just puts us out of the EV-only range), average about 800-1000 miles per tank. We didn’t bother installing a L2 240V plug in our garage, we just use the L1 120V charger overnight. Van is beyond reproach in its

Dicks out.

Can I ask why you guys bought it if the problem presented itself so apparently?  Did it not show up during the test drive?

I drive a Charger Scat Pack, my wife a Pacifica Hybrid.  Both will carry our two kids, and we use the van on the weekends.  They couldn’t drive more differently, as expected, but I have unexpected fun trying to max out the efficiency in the hybrid.  In the Charger, my driving style changes dramatically.

I was hoping Tom would explain the why, rather than just stating that yes, KBB can be off.  I usually use KBB and Edmunds and average out the values I see for any given car/trade in status.

Honestly, the entertainment from a Shilling article is in the comments, where everyone corrects all the typos he’s made and gives much more accurate takes while exposing Shilling’s takes for the hot garbage they are.

I assumed he meant magic shops #wholesome
