Re: “Tesla v Taycan”, it boils down to: if you have fuck you money, buy the Taycan, because you won’t want to be seen like the thousands of other Model S owners on the streets.  Otherwise, the MS gives you 99.7% of the Taycan for 50% of the price.  

The Tesla fanboys on the Tesla Owners FB page are going nuts about this right now. “Hur hur why isn’t the media covering this, if it was a Tesla it’d be front page news, Musk for president,” etc etc.  Can’t we just appreciate that there are nice EV cars that aren’t Teslas and move on?

The Orville comes closest in tone and style to TNG (minus the obligatory Seth McFarlane humor, which thankfully was damped down somewhat in S2), to the point of copyright infringement.

They touched on how stunned he was at offering to retire, and Starfleet taking him up on it.  I see that as the breaking point for him - that his decades of service bought him no good will at the most needed time.

I’m wondering why Barry isn’t worried if Alexa is recording their conversations.  Because he is The Flash.  Which would invariably get picked up in convos in their kitchen.  Seems like info Bezos would like to know. 

It absolutely would be useful, if only to repeat what’s on the websites and answer general questions like that.  Or is it preferred to have salesmen say “what electric vehicle?” or give wrong information, like you can’t charge at home?  Both were observed in the 2 weeks following the news announcement.

Fair enough. I see that as a problem though - they knew that you guys on the front line would be the first ones hit with questions, and should have had basic info/talking points/training classes ready within the first week post-reveal.
