Open question for everyone - I’ve decided my next car will be an EV. I just want a fast all-electric or PHEV; I don’t care about typical luxury appointments like leather but do like tech items like autopilot-lite and such. So far, the only type of “affordable” car that fits my idea of speed is a used Tesla (Porsche

And Mary whispered, No

NOOO MY CHILDHOOD/INNOCENCE.

Missed opportunity.  Could have been a nice intro.  “Well you see there’s this article on Jalopnik that made me - hey where’re you going?”

They were going to paint it Brown, but they’re actually going to (maybe) be good this year.  And naming it the Lions is just yet another kick in our balls, so I’m glad it’s a Raider.

I really wish Discount Tire would start doing alignments.  Great service and friendly people most of the time, but they just don’t do soup-to-nuts service.

It’s a cool concept but I personally don’t want to go to my car in the morning with a giant question mark on how much range I have.  Sure, most times I’m going to work and back.  But what if on one day I have to take a surprise trip somewhere?  Not an issue with gas vehicles (or a fully charged EV.)  If there is a way

Seriously.  Out of all those Chargers on the Lodge in Detroit doing donuts, and they arrest one (1) guy.  Hollywood lied to us with all this “enhance!” bullshit

I hate when it’s super obvious, like when Lara squeezes through a crack in the rock or doorway.  It happens so. many. times. that it became repetitive and obvious as to what’s happening.  Also, when she runs through a corridor with nothing happening, takes a left turn then a right turn - it’s clear that it’s a

I mean...this applies to any Ferrari or Lambo or exotic car which you see in traffic, right?  Not just because the Urus is an SUV?

I’m not a confrontational guy, I’d rather just be polite and say no and walk away, but I don’t think I could let the “give me your inflight snack” requirement go.  I’m not even going to eat my Biscoff but you sure as hell won’t get it because you are SO magmanimous to share the AIRPORT’s outlet.

United: Walmart

Didn’t this thing’s predecessor become a Kia?  That was bizarre.

No, United and Spirit are much more Florida than American.

Ok I can kind of see that.  What about the food requirements as payment for use?

Why did they even develop and sell the Urus then? If the goal is brand preservation and exclusivity, then stick to exotic supercars that mortals rarely see. Any OEM jumping into the SUV market is trying to 1) maximize profits, 2) increase volume, and 3) increase adoption/brand awareness - 3 things which don’t seem to

I think the key is, he doesn’t want to be nice, but he has something which other people want so he wants to lord some power and authority over them.

I’m glad too - they’re already way too expensive for plebes like me who want a fast, slick EV car but don’t want a box.  The current interior is much preferred over the minimalist Model 3.

They’re already buying/sharing EV credits in Europe.  Give it time, the timeline is still forming.

No offense, you do you, but I would have walked away at “requirements.”  Just be nice and let people use it, or don’t.  You have 5 conditions which would take too long even to say and keep in mind, which then you have to track.  Who cares.  (If that’s a joke post, add a /s to it, because I think you’re serious.)
