Y’all have restored my faith in commenters today, thank you :)

And thank you for bringing this level of discourse to a major publication. I’m continually impressed not only by the writers understanding and sharing of the issues we face, but by (most of) the commentariat who support it.

Absolutely, dude. I’m Native American and it means a lot to see folks standing up for Indigenous history and flipping the bird to capitalism. Thanks for your kindness and support :)

The problem with raising corporate rates is that there are few things so portable as a corporation. Jack the rates, and suddenly you get Stellantis - which is based in The Netherlands instead of the US. Or Italy, which are the countries where they build most of the cars and would logically be their locations.

I always save packets of this brand from asian fast food restaurants in southern California, it’s pretty good!

I could care less about the damage done to the environment.” - Christ, what an asshole.  I, for one, care a fair amount about taking care of our environment.  My children have to live in this world.

Porsche 959

*closes eyes* - Nope Nope, not looking!

I would add the Senna to that as well.  The rest, yeah I get it.  Konegsigg had the same problem for a long time, it was small iterations between models.

Agreed. It’s a beautiul car but I don’t understand how they can charge 30 Million for it. Is half of it work hours? Man these coachbuilders must be ballin’.

Well, using word-of-mouth to insist you buy their other expensive cars to be allowed to buy their “super exclusive” new car so that it’s only “for the super fans”, and then secretly building lots more of them...

Pinocchio is mad about that car co-opting his whole schtick.

I actually think that was a great gadget that could still be useful today.

“Lithobraking” is pretty great too.

RUD - Rapid Unplanned Disassembly is more common for launch systems.

I don’t need to reduce the radar image to the size of a fly for military radar, I just want to reduce the range of how far that a commercial radar system can calculate a speed so I don’t wear out the brake pads as quickly.

Ha! Can relate! This is how my wife ended up with a new-ish used BMW i3. > 99% of our driving is < 50 miles round trip. It’s her daily driver to/from work. I’ve even taken it camping!

I think it might just be poorly leveled rope lights?

And they are not going to be capable of that until charging times, on a simple power socket, are down to sub five minutes.

I WISH I’D NEVER BEEN BORN!
