The dumb ones will be selling their trucks, houses, and toys for pennies on the dollar in a few years.

My mistake. It’s Friday and payroll day. I’ve been fighting all day long. and I think some more hair just turned gray and fell out.

As some like to (jokingly) say here in Alberta:

That was indeed a smattering of facts.

I was just going to ask about that. That is the Hungarian Flag - go figure.

Do you think that’s the French Flag? Also, this island is between Ontario and New York, so Quebec is even less relevant.

My economics are even better, used 1/2 ton pickup $4000 US, trailer rental on RV Share, ~$100-150/day. Plus I can use my truck to haul stuff, like a micro excavator,  fence stuff and debris.

A modern, loaded, full-size pickup truck is a dream to road trip in (fuel notwithstanding).

I lived many many years living through Michigan winters with FWD cars and never had any issues. My new car is a RWD and even then with winter rubber it’s not a problem thanks to the magic that Ford has managed to program into their traction control settings.

Still not allowed up 70 without awd or chains.

I have to agree the modern pickup (especially the fancy 4wd package ones -Raptor and such- with their soft suspensions) are the Turnpike Cruisers of our time.

She’s old enough to be my mother, and I am 100% in agreement with you on that, even now.

Louisville is split between two significant hills here.  We also have a traction law.  Unless she wants to carry chains, you have to have AWD - CODOT got tired of idiots with mustangs and “winter tires” (crappy all seasons) and mandated it.  You get impounded if you break the rules.

So are we saying that Mr. Fisher was an evangelist for Marmons?  We could say he was a Marmon Missionary?

can i get marisa tomei to explain it to me?

Great news is that Federal Funded Dental Care for any family making under $90k a year in Canada starts next year for 12 and under then by 2025 for all as per this years Budget.

Those are covered by your employer benefits. Not all but some cover up to 80% of those bills. NDP are working on getting dental and eye care included in the universal healthcare. Right now, kids 12 and under are free, thanks to the NDP.

Canadians are also guaranteed at least two weeks vacation every year

The Dash 8 Q Series is pretty great too, extra quiet (for a turbo prop).

The Serial One bikes have a CVT rear hub hence no gears. I test rode one (before buying a Specialized Turbo Vado 4.0) and found the CVT very distracting. It never seemed to be at the ratio I wanted and the rider has no control of the ratio which is preprogrammed. Yes they are heavy but also very stable and easy to
