The used motorcycle market has always been really strong. People barely ride and they usually end up spending a lot of money on accessories for their new toy. It’s not uncommon to see people wanting near new prices for a model that is a few years old or more if they have farkles. It’s why I buy new motorcycles, it’s

My initial thoughts are no, it wont make things worse.
On one hand you have a semi-with-trailer rollover,on the other a trailer rollover with the semi staying mostly in it’s lane.

I’m not sure that the idea that the tractor acts as a wedge to stop the trailor has much merit. From the videos and images a quick search turned up, the tractor-trailer combo essentially slides as one unit, as shown below. The cabs have forward momentum too, so they aren’t going to act as any more of a brake than the

cabs are pretty shitty. Freightliner’s are the ones that scare me the most. Especially the M2s

Agreed. I don’t want the truck that is driving 70 MPH in Kansas, gets hit with a downdraft from a micro-burst to then allow the trailer to depart said truck while moving at 70 MPH. I would feel this is now a nearly 70 MPH, 65,000 lb. missile heading forward for the median, other traffic, bridges, interchanges, school

This is why i have such despair. it feels like we lost.

They were made by a small company, not Ford.

I dunno, I appreciate that you’re pro-mask, but it kinda sounds like you’re interpreting masks as a binary activity and it isn’t, ie masks provide no benefit unless the compliance is absolute and uniform, and that isn’t the case. If you wear a mask at the ice rink concession stand when you’re in closer proximity to a

the Ford Buckbeak.

theyre considered consumable parts at that point and theyre supposed to be easily replaceable and cheap.

I feel like I’m in the minority here, but this thing is fucking ugly. Whoever thought having your cars side windows be 4-5 inches below the hood line needs to be fired from GM. It doesn’t look good on the Silverado, it doesn’t look good here either.

Well - that’s kind of cool!

Depends heavily on where it is, and what application it’s put to.

Yeah, the headline could have been more about avoiding the pitfalls of gamification, e.g. don’t let the discouragement of breaking a gamified streak stop you from consistency, even if you miss a day..

Exactly, hitting goals takes forever and attention spans are getting shorter.  Give me something to do in between those milestones.  I already work out quite a bit, but am pretty lazy outside of my 90-120 minute daily exercise.  Just started wearing a smartwatch that reminds me to get off my ass every hour and I’ve

Agree. I’m in the camp of “find what works for you” as long isn’t an injury-prone activity for you.  That said, there’s nothing wrong with trying not to “gamify” exercise but if that doesn’t work for you, there’s nothing wrong with gamifying it

Besides, anything that gets people to be more active is a good thing. If it works for somebody, why would anybody tell them it’s wrong? If it results in improved health, it’s not wrong.

Once again, I’m totally convinced that gun ownership should be fully regulated, licensed, and insured no different from car ownership. Prospective gun owners need to take courses, tests, and once licensed need to be fully insured before you can own guns.

I remember my 18in chain saw blade was not enough to cut through one year.
