So, I did some reading. As long as SCOTUS doesn’t go even further off the rails, Trump cannot pardon Rudy. The power to pardon only applies to federal crimes. The President cannot pardon state, or local crimes, nor can they pardon a civil case.

I live in Central Alberta. Block heaters are necessary for any vehicle with an ICE. Once you get below -15C starting a non-plugged-in car is hard on everything in the motor that rotates/spins.

Can a President even pardon the defendant in a civil case? Pardoning a properly-convicted felon is not the same as vacating a verdict in a civil case... is it?
