I’d need to see that. If I want to get a full-sized mountain bike fully in the bed of my Tundra I’m taking off the front wheel and lashing the handlebars to the front tie downs. Both wheels on? No way; unless I lie it down and turn the front wheel 90 degrees.

Why? Why would you live in a neighbourhood with an HOA? How did these become so ubiquitous in the States. In Canada, in a neighbourhood of free-standing homes, these are almost non-existent. We have strata boards in condos and planned communities. But regular residential neighbourhoods are free-hold lots. I literally

If anyone needs TopGear in their lives, the Pluto TV app has it on pretty much constantly. They’re mostly old episodes, but for me those are the best anyways.

Gouge my eyeballs out.

I get the entertainment value. For me, the issue is the cruise itself. The idea of being around 5500 people in a contained environment for any amount of time that isn’t a hockey game or a concert, is an absolute no-go for me. I don’t like people enough to cruise.

I LOVE the Smaht Pahk ad.

I honestly don’t know. We bought our Crosstrek new in ‘22 for $34,000 CAD (taxes and fees included). We were fortunate in that we received a fairly healthy inheritance and our truck was dying. We decided that we had the opportunity to buy new and remain debt-free (aside from our mortgage) so we did it.

I didn’t love the Banshee the same way. But, from that front end being so clearly the design direction for the Firebird/TransAm and the interior becoming everything GM put into an interior in the ‘90s, it was totally a marker for things to come from GM.

Last month a massive, critical water main in Calgary ruptured. It put the water supply of 400,000 people at risk. The Mayor begged people to conserve water so that there would be enough to fight fires, service hospitals, and supply drinking water.

The Buick Wildcat from 1985. I saw one of these in-person at Expo ‘86 in Vancouver. It sported a McLaren engine, AWD, a heads-up display, and the entire canopy lifted forward to give access to the interior.

Serious question... does it have enough battery capacity to challenge the Nordschleife record? 22km at flat out speed?

Maserati EV...

Meh, I like the69dodgechargerfan. I have Fender Telecaster friend, a Flueger fishing reels friend, a Mustang friend. Sure, they all require some kind of intervention but they’re super well-versed on their obsessions and they really want you to love their thing as much as they do.

Challengers handle well too.”

Jesus. That’s terrifying.

The Flex has the worst ergonomics of any car I’ve ever driven. You know how when Leonardo DiCaprio puts on a suit, it always looks like he’s wearing his dad’s suit. That’s how I felt driving the Flex. I couldn’t get the seat, steering wheel into any kind of position that felt comfortable to me.

This is a case of “I know and I don’t care”. The Supra is a better-looking car IMO. I like the bubble roof, I like the front end, I like the rear spoiler. I just like the car better.
