I clear wrapped (the self-healing 3M stuff) the front end of my Crosstrek when I bought it. I did the hood, bumper, lower front fascia, side mirrors, and headlights. Two years and 50,000 km later, there isn’t a mark, mar, scratch, nothing. That was money well spent.

“Energetic failure” is my favourite aerospace engineering euphemism. 

I once attempted to fix a rust spot in my driver’s side door with a wire wheel, some bondo, a piece of Tupperware (I cut the bottom out of a sandwich container), some duct tape, and a rattle can of orange primer.

I am hoping that this is a camera artifact. But you know it’s not.

This would work out to $36,000CAD. For $36,000 I can have almost 300km of range? That would cover my house to the nearest big city and back without having to charge. It would cover a week’s worth of driving to/from work for my wife. It would get me to the mountains and back for a weekend of camping.

Just stare at this for a while. It’ll make the brain-hurts go away.

The coolest headlights let you go fast through the forest, at night. You need ALL THE HEADLIGHTS. Specifically the RS2000 Group B car.

Depends. There are TONS of 19-23 year-old rig workers here in Alberta, that all drive $60,000 - $90,000 pickup trucks. Too much money too fast, too young to be even remotely responsible with it.

My best friend had one when we were in university (1991/92ish). It was a ton of fun. Hers was red with the camback. We had to store the camback in her dad’s garage. You could take the roof and rear hatch completely off and have basically a convertible with a large rollbar.
