Feminism is intended to be a means to egalitarianism.
Anything less is some “All lives matter” linguistic acrobatics with a heavy subtext.

This one a rare series that revitalized my interest in anime (only to be subsequently let down by all the other cookie-cutter stuff out there).
Yuasa seems to have a handle on how to tell a narrative in abstract ways, which I think is a bit off-putting to a lot of people who want a more casual viewing experience, but I

Hah, yeah, that’s an odd typo.

More like Bog of Dicks Coalition, amiright?

Okay.

I feel like Showtime-era Lakers would beat the current Warriors lineup, but ‘96 Bulls would kill the same Lakers team. Conversely, I think the Bulls/Warriors match could be a tossup.

Yeah, but it’s still a killer post.

Living hard on the easy life.
I guess it’s as close to karma as we can hope for at the moment.

I keep forgetting this homie’s only 31. Dude looks like a used up q-tip.
His DNA just screams “insurance salesman with sex predator charges.”

Having had an Android for work and an iPhone as a personal cell, I’ve lost all concern for the material fetishism of smartphones, and I’m amazed that other people still have it. Beyond a manageable OS and solid functionality, I just don’t care. I’m sure this phone will be cool or whatever, but if I see someone with

Really? I use Plex on my ATV. I got it as a gift, and honestly never felt like the need to second guess it. I’m not a brand loyalist or anything... it just functions well enough and I never bothered to second guess it.

I’ve only messed with Roku and Apple TV, but I never had any complaints with my Apple TV. I guess I didn’t realize it was even a debated topic.

I feel like there should be a harder division between “punk” and “pop punk,” because when I hear someone talk about punk, I still expect some d-beats or residual Void attitude, not this. Punk is a way better genre than this.

“It really isn’t a cry for attention,” he insisted, in response to another redditor’s criticism of the essay.

So, I agree with pretty much all of the positive praise and acclaim the series has been getting, but... when I watch it I think I appreciate it more than I enjoy it. Like, it goes through the motions pretty well, but it never really strikes a chord with me.
I guess what I’m looking for here is some kind of intense

Yeah, it’s pretty obvious the current administration would rather just do what they want and reveal the results. I agree that they’re generally meaningless, but this is one of the rare instances where it helps stroke the fire and put pressure on them. You look at how many people (especially elderly citizens) are going

Not sure if this’ll get out of the grey, but...
What would happen if Trump went to trial? Obviously, he’d perjure himself on an hourly basis, but how would the court react? No one’s cared before about his inability to tell a consistent story...

Nixon represents something weird in history: a secret shame for republicans and a dark victory for democrats. There’s no redeeming him, but when you have people like Chomsky calling him the last leftist before the neo-liberal movement decimated its own cause, it only highlights how uneasy his legacy is for both sides
