It's the fault of the NFL in this case. Letting teams control their own footballs is just asking for trouble, just like it would make no sense to let each major league pitcher keep custody of the baseballs he's going to use in the game.

"need you home a sap"
Fuck Wilson. The dude just up and swims off at the first sign of rough weather. Some friend.
It's not just Bill Nye the Science Guy who isn't buying Bill Belichick's involved and theoretical explanation for…
McNair is absolutely a first class asshole. Guy is one of the biggest political donors amongst NFL owners. And it all goes to government-drowning, tax-hating, right-wingers. Wouldn't be a problem save for the fact that he is all too happy to take hundreds of millions in public money to pay for his stadium. Fuck that…
Roger Goodell, the senator's son, has never held a job outside of the NFL. Is it any wonder he has zero sense of perspective and carries with him a huge amount of arrogance and douchebaggery?
Roger's follies have honestly made it so I can't even watch football without thinking of all of the sport's inherent flaws and surrounding issues. So, in short, he has made me a more critical thinker about the game I love so much. I can't just turn my brain off and watch anymore.
Depends on when the edits were done and how long they keep server logs around for. There's every good chance it's not possible for them to find out, depending on how their software is written.
Yeah, we've heard similar descriptions from other former ESPN.com employees. That they are claiming ignorance as to who made the edits is pretty laughable.
You're telling me their content management system seriously doesn't have a record of who edits a webpage? Something here stinks. And it ain't just Berman.
No problem. Always glad to hear from you.
Former ESPNer here. The content management system that ESPN uses for publishing articles to espn.com requires a login. Each article is a separate object within the system and every edit to the article is tracked along with which login was used to make the edit.
This is a kind of stupid, very low-intensity thing, but it really is a microcosm for a lot of the wrong at ESPN, and that's why it's important (to me).
it is very easy for ESPN to find out who edited that page...they probably just dont care about it lol
"We don't believe him, he changes many things around here beside his draft board."
To finish his sentence, "NSYNC would have even been better than this shit!".
What's your definition of khakis? To me, those are khakis...just blue ones.
lol, wut? Your post leaves something to be desired. That something is logic.
"Bill, let's take our next call. Pete from Seattle has a question about jet fuel."
