I’m hard pressed to think of another program of SC’s size/caliber that lacks luxury boxes. Sure, I think the stratification of haves and have-nots in sports is shitty (nowhere is this more apparent than at Levi’s Stadium), but given how much big money flows into college football, this was inevitable.

That’s pretty badass.

That makes me feel worse for him!

That second clip. Wowee.

John Kerry also got shat on for being a war hero (which, being a war hero is amazing inandofitself, but only moreso when one realizes Kerry left his wealthy, Patrician, ivy-league upbringing to enlist, whereas most other notable politicians of his age found a way to dodge the war).

Oh I don’t disagree that showing more of her personal/fun side (err, um, having a personal/fun side to show?) might go a long way in terms of improving her likability.

What about extreme roller blading then?

Tolentino’s point isn’t that these things are mutually exclusive (indeed you’re right: Clinton’s disapproval is a mixture of both sexist stupidity and more legitimate complaints... though often the latter is used to disguise the former).

Those are the bees knees (so shoot me) when traveling, especially if you ever find yourself having to do a red-eye but appear fresh off the plane. The fruit extracts really invigorate your otherwise tired, jet-lagged under-eyes (I can’t believe I’m writing this as a guy).

It looks like a barbershop quartet had sex with a boarding school.

The guy has serious chops and yet much of the time he’s content to dance, work the stage, groove with his band and sing.

This is not an issue of someone being “better off” than someone else. It’s one of the highest earning athletes of all time vs. active duty servicemen.

Fair. But the notion that the results would’ve been 50/50 otherwise is absurd.

If the majority who were actually registered broke for Hillary, then statistics/logic tells us that either a) those who didn’t get to vote would have split along similar lines, or b) if it really disenfranchised primarily Sanders voters, then Sanders’ voters’ aptitude is such that they could not be bothered to learn

thanks for the info though. so this means Bernie is done for good? They’ve chosen a dem candidate?

Haa. I used to be an associate at at investment bank, killing myself over hours, lacked the 405 commute (but still had to deal with Wilshire... ok, that’s not even close to 405-level bad), had a pretty enjoyable quality of life in West LA whenever I had the small amount of time to enjoy it... whereas one of my best

Those are good points. If you can find a way to live in Encinitas and make a living, quality of life would be hard to beat.
