As a former contestant, I'll note that Harry Friedman is really personable backstage and takes time to get to know the contestants (even Teen Tournament kids). One doesn't get to chat with Trebek thanks to game show scandal/fixing rules, but he seems way more chill than the host.

Instead of merely bitching (a common theme among entertainment emails, going by the Sony leak) he took the time to explain where he was coming from and offer a solution. One with dubious economic consequences, sure, but it was more than angry bitching.

Considering that exact thing is already done for DirecTV Sunday Ticket, it's not so far-fetched.

Math is hard, I see.

How dare BR cater to non-fatasses.

Brooks Brothers slim is still fatter than the "regular" (non-slim) version of a British dress shirt.

Firstly, congratulations on losing all of the weight. I don't know that you had to pay so much in order to do this (this could be easily replicated without the need to pay clinicians), but I do certainly subscribe to the notion of sunk money being a powerful mental motivator.

I mean, Canada seems to be doing just fine.

I presume that's what he means by "neuroatypical." So, I'm a bit torn about lamenting his drivel but it actually causes real harm. In which case, fuck him.

Ah ok. Well, I guess that result should be thrown out then in favor of your (and the other commenter's) hypothetical "this is who I think would win" analyses. Puzzling how the NFL doesn't use your guys' scientific approach to determine standings or break ties.

If only there was a way to measure who'd win between them prior to that hypothetical NFC Championship. Like if they'd played in the regular season or something.

Cannot thank you enough for pointing me in that article's direction.

What. In. The. Fuck.

You should've been able to take that from Caesar's (whether in the cheapest of rooms or in the nicest of tower suites).

Never thought to ask for shoe polish (which I always forget to pack and end up hating myself for); thank you!

I'm glad you wouldn't literally be dead in such a scenario.

Trolls do it for attention and then move on once the attention fades. He's been doing this for, again, the past *year and a half,* before there was any attention. Before there was any gamergate.

He's been harassing her the past year and a half on various platforms. Something tells me that ignoring him isn't going to make him just go away spontaneously.

One thing the internet's made me aware of is that there are a good number of semi-unhinged people out there — specifically, suffering from some sort of mental disorder that only partially interferes with their ability to lead a semblance of a normal life.

Wonderfully insightful. Thank you.
