Just chiming in to say that was really well said.

Ouch... on a few levels.
No Rick Reilly?
Yes, I think this is the most damning part. Whether or not Goodell/the NFL saw the video or not is inconsequential (assuming there wasn't some kind of conspiratorial coverup).
I think it's interesting to note that TMZ is one of the few outlets (alongside Gawker!) willing to pay for evidence, something that's unique in the media world.
Good trolling requires — say it with me now — *nuance.*
Indeed. Not realizing the extent to which so many things are intertwined commercially nowadays (and concluding that boycotts down to the smallest iota of tangential support is feasible) is naive.
Ah, yep, now I get it. Thank you.
I recently bought a Victorinox Avolve and can't sing enough praises for spinners/four-wheelers. Yes, you lose a small bit of interior volume but it helps tremendously in navigating tight spaces at airports, such as restrooms and restaurants/bars... let alone any long walk with your luggage where you get to push and…

Someone help me out here. I'm generally onboard with the "Peter King is a hack" posts (since... he is), but his second to last sentence seems to be him calling out the NFL — albeit in the most polite way possible.
Its probably a risk/reward thing. Percy healthy for the entire season? Top 10 player (fantasy points-wise... in reality, likely MVP candidate).
The weapons they have, numerically and quality-wise, is almost unfair. Especially Harvin.
I hate to play the "you're just a blogger" card, but anyone who can become an NFL quarterback, Rhodes Scholar, and successful private equity partner, I sort of implicitly trust. The magnitude between his accomplishments and ours is kind of, sort of vast.
Seahawks:
(1) Danny Kelly, FieldGulls.com (their coverage just exceeds any newspaper beat covering any team in the handful of cities I've lived in/teams I've followed)
(2) Jayson Jenks, Seattle Times (more of a beat features writer than a pure beat writer but kid can write)
(3) John Boyle, Everett Herald
(4) Art Thiel,…
Love Tim. Not sure why he lets Twitter trolls rankle him every day though.
Clayton is still wonderful. His knowledge is (seemingly) second to none.
It's an interesting question as, yes, IP bans are easy to bypass and burners serve a real purpose. I think the best course of action is just to have a few human mods (interns, maybe?) patrolling Gawker Media but, obviously, it isn't the most stimulating of work.
Nah, they're owned by Time Magaz... oh. Yeah. You're right.
College recruiting, especially as it pertains to football, tends to be a bit competitive. "Come here, we have the best facilities, most championships, and best pipeline to the NFL. You will get a nice degree too."
Without the moral ambiguity of cheering for disaster/human endangerment.
