It’s incomprehensible gibberish yet this guy got elected on “he just tells it like it is!” I don’t know how these people put their pants on in the morning.

They don’t. They think “He’s having to push back against all these savages, that’s why he looks unhinged! I look like that all the time, especially when my wife makes me beat her.”.

I still can’t understand how anybody can watch the way Trump behaves and think “yep, that’s good and normal.” If the guy who grooms my dogs behaved like this, spoke like this, tweeted like this... I’d find a new guy to groom my fucking dogs. And I’m not even talking about the abhorrent racism and xenophobia and

The idea that they'll ever ban him is a pipe dream...even if Jack wasn't basically in his pocket, he drives traffic. That's all that matters.

She doesn’t want to have sex with him, so in his mind she must be.

You and I both know he just forgot that part.

Isn’t harassment against Twitter’s terms of service?

I’m seriously surprised he didn’t make a comment about her being a lesbian.

this one is just fucking incredible:

Frankly, any ghibli movie is going to win out over Pixar in terms of quality.

I’m not much of an anime fan at all, but I’d definitely pick Spirited Away over TS4. Add in the big screen factor and it’s an absolute no-brainer. Man, I wish a small, indy screen here in the Bay Area (I’m looking at you, Grand Lake Theater) would run Spirited Away.

Forgive me if you already know this, but not everyone does. The original title of the movie in Japanese is Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, which literally translated means Sen and Chihiro’s Hidden Spirit.  “Sen” and “Chi” are two ways of pronouncing the same character that means: “Thousand” so it’s literally as if

Sen is petting Chihiro. Have you even seen the movie?

First, even though China has 1.4 billion people, not everywhere in China has a bunch of movie theaters. Second, people go to far more movies per person in the US than do in China.

This isnt me dunking on Pixar - I enjoy their stuff - but given the choice between watching either the best Pixar has to offer or the weakest Miyazaki film, I will still pick Miyazaki 10 times out of 10.

I saw a tweet saying liberals should create their own Captain America. They did. In 1940.

It’s amazing that when this issue hit newsstands, the United States wouldn’t even be at war with Germany for another 9 months, and there were still groups strenuously protesting any US involvement in Europe’s war. But Golden Age comics weren’t political, nosirree.
