Vaan is basically on the outside looking into royalty is all. The gameplay and loot in FXII is top notch. And funny enough I just refinished(?) KH1 on proud. What an incredible story but boy is the gameplay OLD now.

XII is fantastic but especially the remaster. The job system is much improved over the standard ps2 version. The only problem with 12 is I can’t get into Vaan.
