I’ve seen so many JRPG nonsense plot twists that I actually thought this was going to happen. A powerless non-combatant suddenly hulks out and goes on an angst-fueled rampage, happens all the time - I guess realism won out here.

That explains why I raged and ran off to grind after every screwup.
Mine says 200-2000 coins. I’m in the post-game.
Change of pace, I guess. Breeding also gets boring after a while, even if it’s quick. Some people are more interested in starting off with a shiny than using the quickest route.
Anything that’s breedable, yeah.
None of these exclusives are going to be particularly hard to get. Over the years, I’ve noticed people are quite willing to part with their cover legendaries, whether it’s due to hacks or people getting ready to trade over pokes and restart their games. Of the non-unique pokemon, only the fossils will take some…
Nope, they’re common. They just happen to be exclusives in B/W as well.
On the other hand, this means no supply problems for Pokemon. If the store I preordered from gives me guff, I’ll just go right across the street.
I wouldn’t buy a smartphone Advance Wars game. Checking an enemy’s attack range, confirming a route, canceling a route, changing info screens - these would be hard to implement with a smartphone interface.
I got up late and totally failed to purchase one. I was counting on lack of advertisement to not make people aware it was out, but nope. I wonder if the federal holiday made it easier for people to line up or show up early. Couldn’t get any information on what kind of people were buying it either.
Reading the middle of this list almost made me lose interest, but then I remembered that it only needs a couple of games to be good to be worth it. I’m still on board.
I’m a little concerned about the PokeBank strategy for transferring pokemon. Apparently, after PokeBank is updated to handle Sun/Moon, it will stop working for V -> VI transfers? Projecting a few gens forward, this means there will be a sharp break between older games and newer games. It won’t be a problem for casual…
That’s pretty impressive. How many duplicates did you wind up with? o.o
Wow, the update is huge. Guess I’ll have to delete some demos or lesser used apps. >_>
Amiibo support was mentioned a while ago, for some sort of update that will involve using Amiibo cards to access villagers in New Leaf. Or at least, that’s what I recall. Caught my eye because the game isn’t exactly new.
Great. I’ve been waiting for this for a while. I just need to figure out which version to order - regular, limited (doesn’t seem to be available), or Amadeus.
I don’t do nuzlockes - I have my own ways of managing difficulty (though I usually prefer to just roll over whatever’s in my way). I am curious though as to whether anyone will have the guts to run a nuzlocke on Sun&Moon right when it comes out, when knowledge is imperfect and failing a run means falling behind…
Nah, type advantages don’t necessarily go in both directions.
It seems like the new trailer addresses the biggest complaint of mine - post-game battle facilities that focus on stupidly long streaks against no-names with freak teams. I’m looking forward to the Battle Tree.
And I just realized what the significance of the guardians being able to curl up into a defensive shell is, after rewatching the trailer. It’s to form the head of the beast.
