+1 for the Headmasters reference. I’m not the biggest fan of Z-moves, but that animation was dope.

I’ll take a stab at it. On the defensive side, Fairy is weak to Steel, but the Water half cancels that weakness out. On the offensive side, Fairy moves are ineffective against Fire types, but you could just use Water moves.
This product is pretty pointless. The worst offenders are the people who refuse to bathe, and it feels like that group is actually growing.
Unfortunately, I have my hands full with SMT4 Apocalypse, so I won’t be able to get to this for a while. I’m debating whether to pick up a launch day copy or sit on it. I guess I should look at the demo.
Nope, starters have never been shiny locked. It’s just a hassle to reset for them.
Glad I’m not the only person who didn’t enjoy the charged shot. I’m an old grouch who likes using the robot master weapons... that’s what they’re in the game for. I wasn’t too fond of the wall-climb mechanic from X either.
For a moment, I got really excited because the Festival Plaza looked a lot like the mall from B/W2. There’s no confirmation that it’s customizable, though.
There have been a bunch of remakes, each more awful than the last.
I blame Jason for this development.
Whoa!!! I’m still catching up on this morning’s TGS news, so I didn’t know this was a thing. First I thought it was a mashup, then I thought it was a fan project, then I learned it’s an official thing. I’m in.
Would that mangaka be Ken Akamatsu, by chance?
Didn’t expect that bit of modernization. We’re _this_ close to seeing the protagonist being called an “internet tuff guy” by irritable nerds.
The problems with the animation industry have been covered pretty heavily. For some reason, the system for airing anime on TV is backwards - the studios pay the networks to air their shows?? And DVD sales numbers are often ridiculously low.
Not only do I run frequently in RPGs, I hold a grudge against games that won’t let me flee or waste time on lengthy failed escape animations. I have no interest in simulating a wild animal attack where I get cornered and mauled.
I hated Sphere of Influence. Tried it for 2 days, then gave up. My favorite NA is Rise to Power because it focuses on fief development and you can raid enemy provinces for resources (or to prune unwanted districts for your eventual takeover). Sphere of Influence focuses too much on RTS in the management phase, which…
I haven’t been watching the anime, only recaps. I’ve grown increasingly frustrated with the bigger and bigger asspull resolutions as the series goes along, so I’ll just wait for the next game, which apparently will not involve Hope’s Peak.
I wasn’t planning to play it on Day 1. Week 1 or 2, perhaps, but still, that’s sooner than I’d planned for. Could you please have it pushed back, Jason?
The TCG Gameboy game was added to the 3DS e-shop a little while ago. I think we still don’t have the second one.
Looking at the list of related articles shows three similar article titles, each purporting to be the next great thing. I’ll just kill time until Sun & Moon.
Alright. Most of them are literally dumped on you in the post-game- they pop out of portals that you unlock by fulfilling certain conditions. Some are on unmarked islands, some come from sky portals that you have to fly to, and some are where they were in the original Ruby/Sapphire.
