I don't play fighting games, but I do find these types of lobbies hilarious. There's so much you can deduce from how an avatar walks around, hesitates, goes back and forth, runs away, etc. The arcade machines are a nice touch.
Uhh, okay. I woke up late, and wasn't paying attention to the Sony conference before I went to bed last night. I'm not sure whether to stick with PS3 or spring for a PS4. It'll depend on if one version is glitchy.
I'm surprised by the number of people who can't make the minor logical jump from the game being released in arcades to the game being released on console later.
The timing is right. The sequel is being released in North America next week.
This game has no puzzles, only mini-games, which are confined to the trial phases. The game is mostly a straight march to the finish line, and what really matters is how you feel about the various characters and who you get attached to.
It's a matter of what you find stressful. I find human backbiting and politicking much more stressful than wondering if I'm going to get my face shot off when I open a hatch.
Urrrrrrgh, this article made me queasy. It's like Model U.N. invaded X-COM.
Okay, so this was the shocking announcement they were planning, right?
Wow, so there was a commercial for Link's Awakening, and it was another rap. Too bad it says nothing about the nasty twist at the end. The struggle is real.
Seeing this article, I was so happy, right up until the point I realized we probably won't get it. :(
I loved it too, and played it for hours at a time, driving my mother crazy with how much I shut everything else out. I can't explain why it was so good... simple hexagonal map combat, scouring for gold and food, scoring a rare ninja kill on a weakened daimyo.
A lot of these are games that I hemmed and hawwed about but ultimately did not purchase, leaving me to wonder if I made the choice. Sequels would fix that!
I kinda want this movie. >.>
The DS Lite is great for being able to play GBA games on a nice backlit screen. I don't use mine very often - the D-pad is vulnerable to wear and tear and the hinge is probably the weakest of all the models - but there are a few evergreen GBA games that I still want to be able to play (regardless of whether they go…
I keep slippers for that! They're much cheaper, and once I've squished something big once, I stop using them as footwear.
Thanks for the explanation. My situation is a bit different. I have a lot of old DS games I like to play, especially Pokemon games, and getting them to play on a 3DS on a good resolution means limiting myself to a small square part of the screen. Plus I'm not fond of the 3DS's longer boot sequence... it's an issue…
I've gone through a lot of portables (some of them for anger-related reasons), and even I'm amazed by the six 3DS variants. I take it you don't collect older hardware, then? My instincts are always screaming at me to pick up an original DSi XL before they all disappear. I'll probably cave in one of these days, if…
Emolga had the best introduction in game (via Elesa), in terms of a "Why did I bring the wrong pokemon?!" reaction. Ignores oncoming Bulldoze, then Volt Switches out to avoid a likely Rock Throw/Rock Slide. I even threw a grass pokemon in there to take less damage, only to get hit by a Zebstrika's Flame Charge. I…
A lot of fuss is being made over the fact that it's Pachirisu, but this moveset seems pretty useful for support. Plus the other five on his team aren't exactly jokes.
